LEGOLAND Florida, located in Winter Haven, about 45 minutes from Orlando and Tampa, is a massive LEGO-themed resort built for families with kids aged 2 to 12. The resort includes the main theme park, a water park, and the world’s first Peppa Pig Theme Park. With creative attractions, interactive play zones, and charming themed hotels, it’s one of Florida’s most kid-friendly destinations.
History & Background
The park was built on the site of the former Cypress Gardens, Florida’s first theme park, and opened in 2011 under Merlin Entertainments. Many of the gardens and scenic lakes remain part of the experience. LEGOLAND Florida has since expanded to include a full water park and a growing resort complex with LEGO-themed hotels and exclusive events throughout the year.
