Six Flags White Water

Located just outside Atlanta in Marietta, Georgia, Six Flags White Water is one of the top water parks in the Southeast. With over 40 slides, a massive wave pool, and a relaxing lazy river, it’s a go-to summer destination for families, thrill seekers, and anyone looking to beat the Georgia heat.
History
Six Flags White Water first opened its gates in 1984 under the name White Water Atlanta. The park quickly became popular for its variety of water attractions. Six Flags acquired it in the late ’90s, bringing it under the umbrella of the Six Flags brand and giving it a major facelift. Over the years, the park has introduced new high-thrill slides and modern amenities while keeping its original Southern charm.
Ticket Prices and Packages
General admission tickets usually range from $30 to $45 depending on the day and promotions. Seasonal and annual passes are popular options for locals and frequent visitors. Discounts are often available online, and combo passes that include entry to Six Flags Over Georgia are a great deal.
Opening Hours & Best Time to Visit
Six Flags White Water operates seasonally from May to early September, typically open from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Weekends and holidays are the busiest, so try visiting on a weekday for shorter lines. July tends to be the most crowded and hottest month, while May and early June offer milder temps and fewer crowds.
Seasonal highlights include Dive-In Movies and special themed weekends.
