Michigan’s Adventure

Michigan’s Adventure, located in Muskegon, Michigan, is the largest amusement park in the state. It offers a laid-back mix of classic roller coasters, kid-friendly attractions, and the popular WildWater Adventure water park—all included with admission. It’s a budget-friendly summer favorite for families across the Midwest.
History & Background
The park began in 1956 as Deer Park, a petting zoo and picnic spot, eventually growing into a full-scale amusement park by the 1980s. It was acquired by Cedar Fair in 2001, and now continues under the Six Flags umbrella as of 2024. While smaller than other chain parks, Michigan’s Adventure has a loyal following and offers a clean, easygoing park experience.
