Operating season: March to October

Enchanted Forest, located in Turner, Oregon (just south of Salem), is a hand-built, family-owned fantasy theme park known for its storybook trails, unique dark rides, and forested charm. It’s one of the most original parks in the U.S., blending classic fairy tales with quirky fun and old-school craftsmanship.

History & Background

The park was founded by Roger Tofte, a local artist who built the park from the ground up with little more than a trowel and a dream. It opened in 1971 and has remained family-owned and operated ever since. Known for its detailed cement sculptures, underground walkthroughs, and old-world atmosphere, Enchanted Forest has become a cult favorite among fans of nostalgic Americana and offbeat theme parks.
